WordCamp is a conference type of event that focuses squarely on everything WordPress.
Everyone from casual end users all the way up to core developers show
up to these events. These events are usually highlighted by speeches or
keynotes by various people.
With that quoted, WordCamp LA is a conference event. As it stands, we’re aiming to throw LA’s first second WordCamp on September 11th, 2010 at Loyola Marymount University in Westchester, Los Angeles.
